Bring Your Own Buddy
Teen Fitness & Wellness Program
Our Bring Your Own Buddy / Teen Fitness & Wellness Challenge Program (BYOB) provides free 3-month access to the Community Center for teens ages 13-18. Teens are rewarded for successfully completing the 3-month program with a free 6-month membership at BSRCC. Enrollment in BYOB is on a rolling basis.
The program has 3 components: Fitness, Health & Nutrition and Community Give- Back. Over the course of the free 3-month access, teens only need to meet minimum requirements to include participation in fitness activities 2.5 hours per week, attendance at 3 group exercise classes, 1 health and nutrition workshop, and volunteering a total of 2 hours for any Berkshire South program or event. Each teen will receive a body assessment and a one hour personal training appointment. During their one hour appointment a program will be designed for that teen. It’s so simple and so rewarding.
Full access to the Center includes access to the Norris Aquatic Center, Fitzpatrick Fitness Center, and Beinecke Gymnasium.
New classes specific to Teen Wellness are being added all the time.
