GUIDED HIKES
Explore a bit of the Berkshires with a guided hike led by an experienced guide. Learn about the area’s natural and human history, ecology, plant and animal identification, tracks and signs. Bring water, lunch or snack, appropriate clothing and footwear, sunscreen and insect repellent. Meet at the designated location. Pre-registration is required. All are suitable for adults and children ages 6+. Child rate applies to children 12 and under.

Enjoy blazing fall colors at their peak along this 3-mile loop trail on the slopes of Lenox Mountain, featuring woods, scenic ridgeline overlooks, a quiet pond, and an 1800’s farmhouse site. A moderate 3.2 mile hike. Co-sponsored by Berkshire Natural Resources Council (BNRC).

Community Access to the Arts
Community Access to the Arts, (CATA) is a non-profit arts organization that has provided over 1,000 visual and performing arts workshops for hundreds of individuals with physical and/or developmental disabilities. High school students in the region are encouraged to complete service learning hours to prepare for continuing education opportunities. Berkshire South offers both the guidance necessary to make your service learning fun & educational.
