Early Childhood Programs
Sunshine Preschool
Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Sunshine is our state licensed and N.A.E.Y.C. accredited program for children 2 years 9 months to kindergarten ready. Children learn through play in this fun and educational hands on environment. Children will enjoy art, crafts, woodworking, creative movement, dramatic play, story time, songs, gym time, outdoor time, as well as our splash playground. Cost is $30 for a half day (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.), $40 for a full day. Members save an additional $5 per day.

PLEASE NOTE: All early childhood programs are cancelled on school closing dates and holidays. The only program that runs is “Stay & Play” which is our drop off babysitting service.
Stay & Play
2 months to 6 years
Monday - Friday 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Take advantage of great childcare while you work out, take a class or go for a swim. Parents / care givers must remain on site. Limit of 6 children per hour. To reserve a time slot, please contact front desk at 413-528-2810, ext 10.
Members $3 per hour Guest $5 (or any part of an hour)

Kids Club
18 months to 3 years
Wednesday 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Drop your child off while you run errands or have time to yourself. Children will sing songs, have story time, free play, and create art. They may also play in the gym or go outside. Limit 10 children per day.

Busy Bees
Ages 1-3
Tuesday 10 -11 a.m. Beginning January 12th
This drop in parent & child program begins with songs and finger plays, followed by a craft, story, and then play time while the parents sit and talk about their parenting concerns & successes, milestones, and balancing life with a child. Parent & child alike will make connections & form their own community of friendships, learning and fun.

Kid Kaboodle
Ages 1-5
Thursday 10 -11:30 a.m.
This drop in adult/child community program is a burst of excitement and fun! Enjoy a variety of physical activities including our bouncy castle, building blocks, tumbling mats, coloring time, music, and more… This is a great way for parents to socialize and for children to make new friends while having fun.

Tiny Tumblers 1
Ages 3-5
Monday 3-3:45 p.m.
This introductory class for beginning tumblers focuses on tumbling skills, stretching and coordination which are the foundation of gymnastics. Children will explore gymnastics by using themes, games, and music. Tumbling is a great way for kids to increase their strength, body awareness, and confidence while at the same time having fun in a safe environment.

Monday 3:45-4:30 p.m.
This class focuses on slightly experienced children or children that have already attended one of our tumbling classes. We will work on tumbling skills, stretching and coordination which are the foundation of gymnastics. Pre Ballet
Ages 3-5
Tuesday 3-3:45p.m.
In this class, your child will learn basic ballet vocabulary while emphasizing dance. Berkshire South’s Pre-Ballet course introduces feet and arm positions as your mini ballerinas and premier dancers gain balance, coordination and grace.

Ballet 1
Ages 4-6
Tuesday 3:45-4:30p.m.
This class expands on the basics of ballet. Children will increase their ballet vocabulary and put together ballet steps to create small combinations. This class combines the essentials with exercises in movement, rhythm, tempo, balance and coordination.
