Citizen CPR

The purpose of the American Red Cross Citizen CPR course is to teach untrained bystanders how to perform hands-only CPR. Having more citizen bystanders trained in this simple skill can help save lives by putting more cardiac arrest victims within a few steps of lifesaving assistance. While not a formal certification, this is a training that could save someone’s life.

Wilderness & Remote First Aid
Age 14 & older Tues & Thurs Nov 1-10

This 16 hour course provides a foundation in first aid skills to respond to emergencies and give care in locations that do not have immediate emergency medical services response including wilderness environments and remote areas such as urban disasters. Current CPR/AED certification is a prerequisite for this course. Class will be held outdoors when possible; please dress accordingly.

Lifeguard Recertification Course

A review course designed for current life­guards needing to renew their certification. Please bring a copy of your current lifeguard certification in order to be eligible to recertify. Participants are expected to supply their own book. Certification fee for CPR for Lifeguards waived when you sign up for this course.

CPR/AED for Lifeguards Review Course

A review course designed for current life­guards needing to renew their CPR certification. Please bring a copy of your current CPR certification in order to be eligible to recertify. Participants are expected to supply their own CPR mask.

American Red Cross Babysitter’s Certification Ages 11-15
American Red Cross Babysitting Course is the complete package if you are currently or interested in babysitting.

Standard Babysitting will teach you the skills that every parent wants in a safe and responsible babysitter. This course will emphasize how to care for infants and children, develop leadership skills, problem solving, resume writing and more!

CPR and First Aid for the Babysitter will turn your standard certification into a plus. Upon successful completion of this class, you will receive certification in First Aid and infant and child CPR.
